Our Gi Fundamentals program is the bedrock of your journey, focusing on the core principles of leverage, posture, and technical precision. By learning the essential mechanics of the traditional uniform, you’ll build a solid foundation that prioritises efficiency over effort. Adults Fundamentals No-Gi Grappling

Our No-Gi Fundamentals classes strip away the traditional uniform to focus on the raw mechanics of body control and fluid movement. Ideal for those just starting out, these sessions emphasise simple, effective grappling techniques and functional conditioning. You will build a versatile skill set that relies on natural leverage and body positioning rather than fabric grips, making it an accessible and highly practical entry point into the sport.

Our classes are all beginner-friendly, but these all-levels sessions will start to explore some more advanced techniques too. If you're new you might be learning something for the first time and the more experienced students can work on refining their skills more deeply.

Adults All-Levels Gi Jiu-Jitsu

Our All-Levels Gi classes invite students of every rank to engage in the intricate "human chess match" of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These sessions blend advanced technical concepts with live rolling, fostering a collaborative environment where experienced practitioners sharpen their edge and newer students are mentored through the complex strategies of grips, guards, and submissions. The Wrestling programme at Grounded is dedicated to the art of the takedown and the battle for dominant positioning from a standing start. We focus on developing the balance, movement, and defensive awareness required to control exactly where the match goes. These sessions are crucial for rounding out your grappling game, ensuring you have the confidence to transition seamlessly from the feet to the floor.
